It’s Saturday and I have a card Terry featured at her most recent class. I changed it up a tiny bit, since I didn’t have any Happy Thanksgiving stamps. I also decided to use different dies. I don’t usually send Thanksgiving cards unless it is to a friend or family member that I know we won’t see over Thanksgiving weekend. And Christmas is right around the corner, and I usually haven’t started on my Christmas cards! What is your favorite part of Thanksgiving? The food? Family? Football? Let me know in the comments.
Have you checked out the updated Last Chance list? There are a lot of seasonal items on it this go round. I freely admit that I am a procrastinator and, therefore, miss out on some of the better bargains. A lot of the Halloween themed products are on the list. Stampin’ Up! also has a gift guide on the website. There are a lot of products showcased that I tend to overlook but are very practical to have.
Now on to the card. To make the card base, I cut a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Autumn Opulence DSP to 2″ x 5½” and a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to ½” x 5½”. From the sticker page, I cut a pumpkin. It has perforated edges, but I cut closer to the image. I die cut a square from Very Vanilla cardstock with Tile Garden dies on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss cardstock to 2⅞” x 2⅞”.
I stamped Thankful for You from last year’s Gathering Moments stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink. You could use any appropriate sentiment in your stash.
I adhered my ½” purple strip to my DSP piece with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I added this to my card base.

I glued my pumpkin to my die cut square and then glued this to my purple mat.

I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For a bit of added shine, I added three Gold Adhesive Backed Gems.

To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this card!
