Today I have a super simple card that uses the Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP. This paper has a pearlescent sheen to it that you might be able to pick up in the photo. It is really pretty paper. And it is only $5 with a qualifying purchase! Yes, this is the Product of the Month for August and still available. Get it before it disappears!
To make the card base I cut a piece of Golden Glow cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut an additional piece of Golden Glow to 4″ x 5¼” and ran this through my retired leaf (I have forgotten the name of it!) embossing folder from last year on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered this to my card base using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal).

I cut a piece of Cajun Craze cardstock (on sale 15% off!) to 3⅛” x 4⅛” to act as a mat. I cut a piece of Glow of Harvest DSP to 3″ x 4″. I glued the DSP to my mat. I glued this to my card base.

With a ⅞” strip of Golden Glow cardstock, I stamped Happy Birthday from Balloon Festoon stamp set with Cajun Craze ink. I angle cut the ends. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For a little extra shine, I added a Copper Clay dot from the retired In Color gem set.
To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this card!
