It’s Wednesday and time for another card. This card was featured at Terry’s August class. It’s simple, but pretty. You could always change the sentiment if you needed to. While I was at her class, I saw the Product of the Month, Glow of Harvest Specialty DSP. I didn’t realize that it had a pearl-like sheen to it. It is so pretty! If you haven’t gotten it yet, it is still available for $5 with a qualifying purchase.

Now on to the card. To make the card base, I cut a piece of Peaceful Pine cardstock to 4¼” x 11” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 5½”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut another piece to 4” x 5¼” and ran it through my Textured Tree Ring 3D Embossing Folder on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered this to my card base with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). If you use Seal, make sure you put it on the card base rather than the embossed piece to prevent tearing.

I cut a Golden Glow piece of 2026-2028 In Color Gingham Gallery DSP to 5¼” x 1½”. I cut a strip of copper metallic paper to 5¼” x ½”. I used tape runner to add this to the edge of my DSP to prevent smearing. (Wet glue tends to make a mess.) I added this to my card.

With the In Color gingham pack, I punched three leaves with my Simply Leaves punch in the bundle, two in Peaceful Pine and one in Golden Glow. I stamped the stitched vein pattern in the coordinating colors (Golden Glow ink and Peaceful Pine ink). I punched the foliage from Golden Glow cardstock with my retired Bough punch. I adhered these to my card.

I stamped I’m grateful for your kindness in Peaceful Pine ink on a ⅞” wide strip of Golden Glow cardstock. I trimmed the right end to an angle. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I tied a bow with some ⅛” wide copper ribbon and added it to my card with a Mini Glue Dot.

To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and glued it inside my card.
