It’s Saturday and I have a simple card. You may recognize this from Terry’s July card class. Once again, we are using the classic Pooh collection of stamps, dies, and paper. I just love the simplicity of Pooh and Piglet sharing a walk through the 100 Acre Wood.

Now on to our card. To make the card base, I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Golden Glow cardstock to 5″ x 3¾”. I cut a piece of the Silly Old Bear DSP (on sale Tuesday!) to 4⅞” x 3⅝”. I just love the scenes on this paper. It takes me back to simpler, more innocent times.

I adhered my mat to my card base and my DSP scene to my card using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). You could easily reverse the order of the gluing if you wanted to add some ribbon to the card.

I stamped Pooh and Piglet from Sweet Old Friends bundle in Black ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I colored them in using Stampin’ Blends: Bubble Bath and Golden Glow. I die cut them out with the coordinating dies on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I stamped Old friends are the best friends from Sweet Words & Labels bundle in Black ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I die cut this with the coordinating label die.

I added the sentiment and the two friends with Stampin’ Dimensionals.

To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and glued it inside my card.
