It’s Saturday, so I have another simple card from Terry’s June card class. It is a fun beachy scene and makes me want to take a vacation.
Don’t forget to check out the new Online Exclusives that were released earlier this month. You can begin to prepare for the fall and winter holidays. Now on to the card.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a scrap Lost Lagoon cardstock to 4″ x ⅝” for my sentiment. I cut a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock to 4” x 5¼” to act as my mat. From Waterside Retreat DSP, I cut out the beach scene. This is such a versatile pack of paper. I trimmed it to 3⅞” x 5⅛” to leave a narrow border on my mat. I fussy cut a few seagulls from the DSP, also.
I stamped Happy Birthday from Words & Wishes stamp set in Secret Sea ink. I flagged the right end with my scissors.

To assemble the card, I adhered my beach scene to my mat with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I added this panel to my card base.

With Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added the birds to the sky. Don’t forget to use those birds on the edge of the DSP. They can be flying in from the edge of the card.

With Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added my sentiment banner. I added a Linen Thread bow with a Mini Glue Dot.

To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this very simple card!
