It’s Saturday, so I have another simple card. This card was featured at Terry’s June class with a slight tweak. I changed the sentiment and label for current product that I had on hand.
If you haven’t already, check out the new Online Exclusives from Stampin’ Up!. Also, check out the new Product of the Month, Begonia Belle 168592, which you can get for $5. with a qualifying order.

Now on to the card. To make the card base from Cloud Cover cardstock to 4¼” x 11” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 5½”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a narrow strip of Cloud Cover cardstock to 3⅞” x ¼”. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4″ x 5¼” to act as a mat. I cut a piece of Velvet Meadow DSP to 3⅞” x 3⅞” for a background. You can make six cards from one sheet of paper. I cut a piece of Peaceful Garden DSP (Last Chance!) to 3⅞” x 1¼”, also for background.
In Secret Sea ink, I stamped Happy Birthday from Balloon Festoon stamp set on a scrap of Cloud Cover cardstock. I die cut it out with my Sweet Words & Labels dies on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

Now I have all of my pieces, and it is time to assemble. I adhered my Velvet Meadow piece to my white mat using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I added the Peaceful Garden piece below it, maintaining the narrow border. I adhered the narrow strip to my panel where the two pieces converged.

I adhered this panel to my card base.

With Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added my sentiment to my card. For a bit of sparkle, I added a Rhinestone to either side of the sentiment.
I hope you liked this simple card!
