It’s Wednesday and I have a card using the Cutest Crew bundle. This set has dogs, cats, and birds, but today I decided to use the dogs. I am personally more of a cat person and have several grandkitties, but I also have two granddogs. They are obnoxious, especially when I stop by. I have set a precedent, and the dogs think my sole purpose for being there is to take them for a walk. They are very disappointed when I don’t take them out. Talk about sad puppy dog eyes. They settle for me throwing their ball in the back yard. This seems to satisfy them for a little while anyway. Now, let’s get to the card!
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Pool Party cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. This will be a top folding landscape card. I cut a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock to 5½” x 2″ and ran it through my Lazy Daisy Embossing Folder on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I glued this using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal) to my card base.

From Basic White cardstock, I die cut the second largest hexagon from Nested Essential dies. Using the Cutest Crew bundle, I stamped the line of dogs on the hexagon. I colored the dogs using a variety of colors of Stampin’ Blends in the grays and browns. See the supply list below for color suggestions.

I colored under the dogs with light Granny Apple Green Blends. I wasn’t really careful as you will see in the pictures below. That was alright. I added the blades of grass with the dark one. I colored the leaves and flowers.

I die cut the paw prints from Crumb Cake cardstock. This cuts a ½” strip with open prints. I backed it with a ⅛” x 5½” strip of Pecan Pie cardstock. I had to trim down my strip. I glued this to my card base.

I stamped Have the Best Day in Azure Afternoon ink above the dogs. This sentiment is appropriate for many different occasions. I adhered this piece to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I only put the Dimensionals at the top because of the bulk of the layers of cardstock in the middle of the card. I put glue on the lower section that overlapped the embossed and die cut areas.

To finish the card, I glued a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock inside the card. This card would be appropriate for several occasions. You can stamp the inside to coincide with your personal needs.
I hope you liked this card.
