I know that October isn’t over just yet, but I thought I would showcase this pretty card that Terry featured at her October card class. The DSP on this card is part of the Last Chance list, and I didn’t want to wait and risk missing it.
To make the card base I cut a piece of Peaceful Pine cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to 3¾” x 5” for my mat. I cut a piece of Brushed with Beauty DSP (Last Chance!) to 3⅝” x 4⅞” for my background. I cut a strip of Peaceful Pine cardstock to ½” x 3¾”. I cut a piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to ¾” x 3½”.
I die cut the small wreath in the Welcome Noel bundle from Peaceful Pine cardstock. With a Sponge Dauber, I added Peaceful Pine ink around the edges and in the center. You could skip this part if you prefer. I do like the shadow it provides.

With the Christmas Mice stamp set, (bundle) I stamped Merry Christmas in Peaceful Pine ink on the vanilla strip. The Welcome Noel stamp set does not have any word stamps. I stamped two pine trees from Welcome Noel stamp set in Peaceful Pine ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the house in Pecan Pie ink and the small house in Crumb Cake ink on Very Vanilla cardstock. I die cut the pieces on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I added my DSP to my mat piece with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I added this panel to my card base.

I added my green strip and sentiment strip to my card. I added the trees.

I glued my wreath to my larger house. I added the house to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I added my smaller house with a Stampin’ Dimensional on the left side and glue where it overlaps the larger house.

I added a Gold Adhesive Back Gem to my sentiment.

To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Very Vanilla cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this card!
