A Cup of Thanks Card

I think this is the perfect card to send a note of thanks to anyone who hosted you or gifted to you over the holidays!

This card starts with an 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock.

Next, I cut a 3″ by 5.5″ piece of Seaside Spray and ran it through with my Wrapped in Texture Embossing folder. I adhered that to the right side of the card and added a non-embossed piece of Seaside Spray to the left.

I cut a 2″ x 5.5″ piece of Plaid Tidings DSP (Currently on sale for Stampin’ Up’s Year-End Close Out Sale!) to the left side of the card so you could see a strip of the Seaside Spray peeking out from the edge:

Next, I stamped the coffee cups from the Press On stamp set. I stamped two images next to each other on a piece of Whisper White cardstock so that it created a longer image. Stamp in Momento Black ink so that you can color in with your Stampin’ Blends. I used Melon Mambo and Seaside Spray!

I added a strip of Night of Navy to the top of the stamped image and a strip of Rich Raspberry to the bottom.

Next, I stamped the “A cup of thanks” greeting in Night of Navy ink on Whisper White cardstock. I cut it out with one of my Rectangle Stitched dies (leaving some room to the left of the greeting for the bow). I tied a bow with a bit of navy linen thread and adhered it to the left of the greeting with a mini glue dot. I adhered that to the bottom left of the card and adhered the coffee cups so it overlapped the top of the greeting slightly.

Have a great weekend stamping, friends!
