Have you seen the new In Colors?? They are so pretty and perfect for summer!

Today’s card features the new Magenta Madness color! It is such a vibrant color–sure to make any card stand out! This pretty card was also designed by my friend Marilyn Falco.

For the base of this card, cut a piece of Magenta Madness cardstock cut to 11″ x 4-1/4″. Score at 5-1/2″ and fold.  Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 3-7/8″x 2-7/8″.  Cut Whisper White cardstock to 3-3/4″x2-3/4″.

Run the Whisper White piece through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine with the Scripty embossing folder and adhere the embossed piece to the Basic Black piece.

Next, cut a strip of Old Olive cardstock to 1/2″x 4-1/4″. Adhere this strip to the card base halfway down the front.

Stamp the Hibiscus flower from the NEW Timeless Tropical stamp set with Magenta Madness ink on Whisper White cardstock.  Cut out your flower with the NEW In the Tropics die and lightly apply Magenta Madness ink to the flower with a sponge.  Color in the stamens with Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write marker.

Stamp the leaf image from Timeless Tropical with Old Olive ink three times.  Lightly sponge with Old Olive and cut out with the In the Tropics die.

Stamp the “Happy Birthday” greeting from the Itty Bitty Greetings stamp set with Tuxedo Black Momento ink on Whisper White cardstock.  Punch out your greeting with the Classic Label punch.

Finally, Color two rhinestones with Dark Magenta Stampin’ Blend marker and use these to embellish your greeting!
