Easter Framed Home Decor

Easter 1

Today I wanted to stray from my traditional card making posts because I LOVE this framed Easter decor!!

This project is easy to make and looks so sweet for spring! This project is 5″ x 7″.

To begin, I took a full 6″ x 6″ piece of Gingham DSP and then cut an additional 1″ strip to attach to the edge of the 6″ x 6″. Use a few pieces of scotch tape on the BACK of the DSP to attach it. Make sure the pattern lines up on the edge so that nobody can spot a break in the paper.

I used my “happy” Well Written Die and cut it from Gorgeous Grape Cardstock

I used my Alphabet dies to cut out ESTER (the rabbit takes the place of the “A” in Easter!) in Highland Heather Cardstock and Whisper White Cardstock.   I have these alphabet dies for sale, just contact me!

Finally, I stamped the rabbit from my Fable Friends Cling Stamp Set on Whisper White Cardstock using Black Memento Ink. I colored in the rabbit using my Crumb Cake Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker and my Highland Heather Light Stampin’ Blends Marker with the Highland Heather Dark Stampin Blends Marker for the buttons.  Use a light pink marker for inside the ears.  I popped up the rabbit with Stampin Dimensionals.

When finished and dry, I popped my piece in a 5 x 7 white frame to display for Easter!

Check out these other great combos using different colors from the Gingham DSP paper:
