Have you ever been in a haunted house? As a teenager, I remember going to St. Rita’s Haunted House (in Cincinnati) and waiting in line for hours. I think it is the only haunted house I’ve been to other than the ones at Disneyland and Disney World. I also remember watching The Ghost and Mr. Chicken with Don Knotts. It was funny and just a tiny bit scary, so perfect in my book. What haunted houses have you been to or enjoyed on the big screen? Marilyn here with another card.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut three pieces from Spooky Sweet DSP.

With a scrap of Basic Black cardstock, I die cut from the Spooky Halloween bundle, the haunted house, the bats, and the fence.

On the Petunia Pop piece of DSP, I stamped Happy Halloween from the bundle in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I adhered this piece to the bottom of my card base, leaving a ⅛” border, bottom and sides with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I adhered the lighter gray DSP to the top of my card base.

I added the final piece of DSP on the space between the previous panels. It will overlap a little.

I cut the fence into two parts. I adhered these to the darker gray DSP.

To make the haunted house glow, I took a scrap of Daffodil Delight cardstock and cut it to 1¼” x 2¼”. I cut ½” x ⅞” from the upper right-hand corner. This fits perfectly behind the windows and doors of the haunted house.

I carefully adhered this to the back of the haunted house.

I added it to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals between the two fence pieces.
I added the two bats and three of the Petunia Pop Shimmer Star Foam Stickers.
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this card!
