Floral Birthday Card

This pretty card features the Hues of Happiness DSP.

The base of the card is a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock.

I cut a piece of 3 1/4″ x 5 3/16″ Basic White Cardstock with my Split Card Texture Dies (RETIRING SOON!) . I cut out the shape, flipped over the cardstock and ran it through my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine again.

I adhered the piece to a piece of Petal Pink Cardstock, and then matted that on a piece of Early Espresso Cardstock.

Next, I cut the flowers from a piece of Hues of Happiness DSP and a bit of greenery.

I adhered the flowers and some greenery to the card. I adhered the pink flower with Dimensionals so it sits higher on the card.

Finally, I stamped the greeting from the Happiness Abounds greeting in Early Espresso on Basic White Cardstock. I added a bit of greenery under the greeting!

Only the pink flower is on dimensionals. The dimensions for the white CS before running through the Big Shot was 3 1/4 x 5 3/16. You can just fit the die with a very narrow border, but not right on the edge.
