Ombre Flower Birthday Card

Use your Sponge Daubers to create this pretty ombre effect!

This card has a 8.5″ x 5.5″ Basic Black Cardstock base. I adhered a piece of 4″ x 5.25″ Rustic Harvest DSP to the front of the card. (Grab this DSP fast! It is retiring SOON!!)

I cut the flower from a piece of Basic White Cardstock with my Meadow Die. I used Black ink for the center of the flower. I used my Sponge Dauber to color the flowers with Pumpkin Pie Ink and added Cajun Craze Ink over it. I used Old Olive & Granny Apple Green Ink for the stems.

I adhered the flower to a piece of Basic Black Cardstock and matted it on a piece of Basic White Cardstock before adhering to the left side of the card.

For the greeting, I stamped the “Happy Birthday” from my Go To Greetings Stamp Set in Black ink on Basic White Cardstock and cut out with the tag from my Meadow Die set.

Finally, I embellished the card with a couple Rhinestone Basic Jewels!
