The contrast of the black and white makes this card so pretty and really helps the Melon Mambo pop! It was made by my good friend Gigi Parido.

The card starts with a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock.

Next, I cut a piece of 4″ x 5.25″ Melon Mambo Cardstock for the front of the card. The DSP is Beautifully Penned DSP (leftover from Saleabration)  available through me! Or, try Try Abigail Rose or All Together DSP from the annual catalog!

I stamped the flower from the Flowing Flowers Stamp Set in Melon Mambo and adhered it over some Granny Apple Green Cardstock boughs cut with my Bough Punch.

I stamped the “Happy Birthday” greeting in black ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I cut it out with my Tasteful Label Die and cut a second tag out from Melon Mambo Cardstock to mat the greeting!
