The Beauty of the Earth DSP used for this card makes it perfect for sending a note during these weeks between summer and fall!

This card starts with a 11″ x 4.25″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock.

Next, I cut a 4″ x 4″ piece of green, Beauty of the Earth DSP for the left side of the card. I added a 1.5″ x 4″ strip of the gray DSP about 1″ from the edge of the card.

Before adhering the DSP to the card, I wrapped a bit of linen thread around it. You can use any neutral linen-looking thread, such as the Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack.

I stamped this pretty woodsy scene (which would also make pretty Christmas cards!) from the Reflected in Nature Stamp Set in Basic Gray Ink on Very Vanilla Cardstock. I cut the piece of cardstock to 3.25″ x 3.25 and matted it on a 3.5″ x 3.5″ piece of Basic Gray Cardstock.

The detailed stamp on this card makes a stunning statement on this simple card!
