With Stampin’ Up!’s fun, pretty, and versatile DSP, you can make gorgeous bookmarks of all different styles! Cute bookmarks are perfect to gift with a book, serve as a party favor, add inside a card, or just leave to someone who might need a pick-me-up or reminder that someone is thinking of them!
The bookmark above features the Hydrangea Hill DSP.
The base of the bookmark is a 2-1/4″ x 6-1/8″ piece of cardstock. I used Highland Heather Cardstock for this bookmark!
Next, punch the top of the bookmark with a tag punch like the Fancy Tag Topper Punch or Delightful Tag Topper Punch. I used the Scallop Tag Topper Punch on the samples shown, available through me.
Next, cut a piece of DSP like Hydrangea Hill to 2″ x 5″.
What you add next is all embellishments! Pick a greeting that matches the person or occasion you are celebrating!
For this bookmark, I stamped the greeting in Highland Heather Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I cut out the greeting with my Stitched So Sweetly Dies and cut another tag out with Misty Moonlight Cardstock to mat the greeting on.
I embellished the greeting with some tiny flowers made from Highland Heather Cardstock cut out with my Flowers & Leaves Punch. The centers of the flowers are made from Silver Glimmer paper.
Add a piece of ribbon to match your paper such as Gorgeous Grape ⅜” Sheer Ribbon for the final touch!
Finally, I added a strip of Silver Glimmer paper over a strip of Misty Moonlight Cardstock!
