Send one lucky chick this fun card featuring the Hey Chick stamps and dies! The 2017 Saleabration Hey Chick Stamp Set was SO popular that Stampin’ Up decided to bring it back—along with coordinating dies and a completely new bundle created in the same style. But these two bundles are only available for a limited time!
This card starts with a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Granny Apple Green Cardstock! Next, I cut out St. Patrick’s Day scrapbook paper and DSP featuring Granny Apple Green in 1-7/8″ x 2.5″ rectangles! I used scrapbook paper I already had. Have fun mixing and matching your paper! I adhered the rectangles to the front of the card.
I stamped the chick from the Hey Chick Bundle on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock in Black Memento Ink. I colored in the chick with Daffodil Delight and colored in the feathers with light Pumpkin Pie and Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blends Markers. Draw grass with light Granny Apple Green Stampin Blend Marker. You can use light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends for the grass.
I cut out the chick with one of my Stitched So Sweetly Dies. I adhered this piece to a piece of green glitter paper with dimensionals.
Finally, I embellished the chick with a festive top hat punched out of a light green glitter paper with the hat from my Snowman Builder Punch and popped it with dimensionals. I stamped a bow tie in Call Me Clover Ink from an older guy stamp set. Cut with paper snips. You can cut a bow freehand if you dont’ have a stamp that works. I embellished the center of the bow tie with a rhinestone!
I stamped a Happy St. Patrick’s Day greeting in Call Me Clover on the inside of the card! Check out my Hey Chick St. Patrick’s Day Card Supply List!
