Tropical Aloha to Summer Card

Hold on to the sunny and warm days of summer a little longer with this “Aloha” Greeting card made with the Timeless Tropics Stamp Set and In The Tropics Dies.

This card starts with a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Soft Sea Foam Cardstock.

I used the pretty Tropical Oasis DSP for this card–available through me if you don’t have some!

I cut a strip of Whisper White Cardstock to put over the seam of the two pieces of DSP. I cut “aloha” out of a piece of Calypso Coral Cardstock with the Tropics Dies and used my Fine Tip Glue Pen to adhere it to the white strip of cardstock.

I stamped the trunk of the palm trees stamp from Timeless Tropics Stamp Set with Early Espresso Ink and the palms with Pear Pizzazz Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I used the palm tree die from In The Tropics dies to cut out. You can also use the Dark Soft Suede Stampin Blend to color the tree trunks after stamping the Palm Tree in Pear Pizzazz Ink.

I used my 1-3/4″ punch to cut out a piece of Crumb Cake Cardstock but you could also use one of the Layering Circles Dies!

Finally, I adhered the circle to the card and the palm trees on top. I embellished with a little burlap ribbon and linen thread both available through me or I put some alternative ribbon suggestions in my Tropical Aloha to Summer Supply List!
