Looking for the perfect greeting card to send to that loved one you haven’t been able to visit with for a while?? Well look no further because this is sure to put a smile on anyone’s face! It was designed by one of my customers, Marilyn Falco! Definitely blog worthy!!
I started with a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Real Red Cardstock for the base of this card. Next, I cut a skinny strip of Basic Black Cardstock and put it on the left side of the card. Overtop the black cardstock, I adhered a 2″ x 5.5″ piece of Merry Little Christmas DSP, but if you don’t have any you could use the Buffalo Check Cling Stamp Set in Real Red or Basic Black ink like I did below!
You will stamp two cows. You will cut the head off one of the cows (sorry!) with Paper Snips so that you can pop up his head and adhere his social distancing mask. To make the mask, I cut a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and scored it lengthwise a few times. I used White Baker’s Twine to attach his mask. Adhere your twine to the back of the mask and to the back of the cow’s head. Hold the string in place with a Dimensional to attach his head to his body.
I colored in my cow using my Basic Black Light Stampin’ Blends and Smoky Slate Dark Stampin’ Blends for his spots and Petal Pink Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker for his nose, ears, and udder! I also added a few leaves of grass with my Granny Apple Green Dark Stampin’ Blends Marker.
I embellished the card with two Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels!
I hope that this card put a smile on your face and will make your loved ones smile as well!
