Note Cards Gift Bucket

In today’s post, I’m going to show you how to use Stampin’ Up’s Scalloped Note Cards to make the cutest little gift set of note cards!

I find these cute pails at Michael’s or Target and put a few cards in with a pen in some chocolates and: Ta-Da! I have the perfect sweet little note card bucket gift to use as a little hostess gift, lunch gift, Mother’s Day Gift,  etc. I love having them on hand to grab a gift and go!

I start by using the Scalloped Note Cards to make the note cards.

I cut a small strip of Silver Foil Sheet 5″ long (to fit the Scalloped Note Card!) and stick it to the card with my Snail Adhesive. Next, I cut a 2″ x 5″ strip of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper. You can easily utilize different color combos with this paper!

IMG_2209For this card, I used my Seaside Spray Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack to color in this pretty blossoms stamp from the Forever Blossoms Cling Stamp Set. I used a Light Old Olive Stampin’ Blend for the leaves of the blossoms. Then, I embellished the center of the flowers with a few Champagne Rhinestones. Make sure to use Black Memento Ink when coloring with your Stampin’ Blends!

I cut out the blossom with my Cherry Blossoms Dies and adhered the blossom to the front of my note card with Dimensionals. An easy-to-make but pretty card set for your gift bucket!

To add a few extra special touches, I took a piece of Bird Ballad Designer Series Paper and put it inside a clear pen. I also wrapped some Hershey Nuggets with a piece of Subtles 6” x 6” DSP to match the note cards.  TIP: Wrap a piece of 3″ x 1″ DSP and scotch tape to the nugget (with adhesive it tends to come undone later).

Have fun mixing and matching color combinations with your Balmy Blue, Old Olive, Powder Pink, and Terracotta Tile note cards! Here is another color combo I made:
