I hope all of my fellow stampers are doing well! This is certainly a time of uncertainty for all, but I hope that it also enables you to find time for crafting. Crafting and stamping are a means of self therapy. A little happiness in this crazy time.
Papercrafting can provide a release for us in this time of uncertainty. Take some time for yourself and get lost in a project.
Today’s card features one of my favorite products from the March 1 Saleabration release. This pretty vellum comes in three colors and adds dimension and a little bit of shine to any card. Going to be crafting at home for a while? Stock up on some essentials–if you spend $50, you can get this pretty paper free!
I used a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Purple Posy Cardstock for the base of this card. Next, I cut a 2″ x 5.5″ piece of So Very Vellum Specialty DSP and adhered it to the front of my card using Glue Dots.
I stamped the beautiful bouquet of flowers from the Easter Promise Cling Stamp Set using Memento Ink. I colored my bouquet using my Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends Combo Pack and my Dark Soft Sea Foam Stampin’ Blend. Use light Purple Posy for the petals and add a touch of your Dark Purple Posy Stampin Blends to the center of the flowers. I cut out the bouquet with one of my Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
I stamped the “Happy Easter” greeting on a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock with Highland Heather Ink and cut it out with my Label Me Lovely Punch.
Next, I cut out a piece of Highland Heather 8.5” x 11” Cardstock with my Label Me Lovely Punch. I cut the darker label in half across the width and adhered the Purple Posy label on top to add some dimension.
I attached my bouquet to the center of the card and put the greeting on top. I used Dimensionals to adhere both!
Finally, I embellished the greeting with a small white bow!
I hope this sweet card brightens your stressful week! Check out my Happy Easter Flowers Card Supply List and tell me what you’re doing with all your extra time at home in the comments!
Stay safe and healthy! Terry
