For today’s simple Saturday post, I wanted to showcase this cute card that one of my dowline girls, Jean Dalhover made for our card exchange.

This card is made with a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Whisper White cardstock for the base of the card. Affixed to the base of the card is a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Night of Navy cardstock. Then, emboss a 3.75″ x 5″ of Balmy Blue cardstock with the Softly Falling Embossing Folder.

Next, use the dies from the Free Skate Bundle to cut the skates out of Silver Foil Sheets and Whisper White cardstock. Use a piece of Night of Navy cardstock for the skate’s laces.

The holly was stamped on Whisper White paper in Night of Navy ink.

Finally, the “Warmest Winter Wishes” greeting is stamped in Night of Navy ink.

Here is a second version of the card with a Christmas twist! The colors used are Whisper White, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, and a Gold Foil sheet for the skates! The greeting is cut out with one of the dies from the Beautiful Boughs Dies.
