In the warmth and spirit of the upocming Thanksgiving holiday, I thought I’d post one last Thanksgiving Card. This would make a nice card to send to family you won’t see on Thanksgiving, a great hostess thank you note or to to let someone know how thankful you are for them!
For the base of this card, I cut a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Early Espresso 8.5” x 11” Cardstock. Next, I cut a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Crumb Cake 8.5” x 11” Cardstock and embossed it with my Woodland Embossing Folder. I sponged over the embossed trees with a little bit of Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad to add some dimension to the background and highlight the trees.
Next, I stamped the pumpkins on Pumpkin Pie Cardstock and the large leaves on Crushed Curry Cardstock and Cajun Craze Cardstock with the Gather Together Stamp Set and the Cajun Craze Classic Stampin’ Pad. I cut the stamped leaves and pumpkins out my Gathered Leaves Dies. Then use the smaller leaf dies to cut leaves out of Mossy Meadow Cardstock. I just love the way the smaller leave dies emboss the paper so that you don’t even have to stamp them!
I stamped the “Season of Thanks” greeting in Early Espresso Classic Stampin’ Pad on a piece of Very Vanilla 8.5” x 11” Cardstock and cut it out using one of the Stitched Nested Label Dies. I also stamped a Happy Thanksgiving greeting from the Day of Thanks Stamp Set with Early Espresso Ink on the inside on 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Very Vanilla Cardstock. You could even stamp the turkey on the inside with your greeting!!
Finally, I arranged the leaves around my greeting with Snail Adhesive and Stampin’ Dimensionals. I put the pumpkins on the bottom of the card with dimensionals and embellished one with a little bow from Linen Thread adhered with a Mini Glue Dot.
Enjoy! Have a wonderful and blessed Thanksgiving holiday shared with those you love!!
