llsIf you are looking for an easy but STUNNING Christmas Card to wow your friends and family, look no further. Stampin’ Up’s Feels Like Frost Specialty DSP is the perfect back drop for these beautiful Christmas Cards.
I mixed and matched this design with different sheets of DSP for a variety of pretty cards. The Feels Like Frost paper is so pretty and has so much beautiful detail, you can make a whole bunch of these simple cards in no time!! And that’s important when you have a large quantity of Chrismas Cards to make. This one pack of DSP will make 48 cards. The back of the paper is a beautiful silver and white, so gorgeous!!
The paper features Seaside Spray, Night of Navy, Pretty Peacock, Highland Heather and Purple Posy. I used a combination of Night of Navy Cardstock, Highland Heather Cardstock, and Seaside Spray Cardstock for my batch of cards.
I used a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of cardstock for the base of my card. Next, cut a piece of 5″ x 3.75″ piece of from your pattern choice of Feels Like Frost DSP. Frame your DSP with a contrasting piece of 5.25″ x 4″ cardstock and affix it to the base of your card.
Next, stamp the “Warmest Winter Wishes” greeting from the Free Skate Stamp Set on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock and punch out your greeting with the Story Label Punch. I also punched a piece of Silver Glimmer Paper out with the Story Label Punch to border my greeting. The silver glitter helps to bring out the sparkling snow in the DSP! This punch is a favorite for framing up a greeting on any card!!
TIP: Cut your glitter Story Label in half horizontally before you adhere it to your greeting so it sticks out on both sides behind the Whisper White paper! Also use Tear & Tape Adhesive to adhere greeting to glitter paper. Regular adhesive is not strong enough.
Finally, adhere your greeting to your card with some Stampin’ Dimensionals!
Here are other card ideas with other color combinations of this amazing DSP! Have fun mixing and matching and creating your own! Check out my Feels Like Frost Cards Supply List.
