Today I have a Valentine’s Day card that is perfect for that man in your life that likes to work with his hands. I used a combination of sets to create this collage card. Valentine’s Day is just a couple weeks away!
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Night of Navy cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock for my background image.
To make the background I used the Endless Love bundle and Gears & Textures stamp set. 1. I stamped the lined heart with Misty Moonlight ink. 2. I stamped the scribbled heart with Night of Navy ink. 3. I made a mask with Masking Paper and cover the striped heart. Then I stamped the larger gear with Early Espresso ink. 4. I stamped the smaller gear with Basic Gray ink. 5. I stamped the ink splat with Early Espresso ink. 6. I stamped the striped image with stamped off Early Espresso ink. 7. I stamped the heart combination with Night of Navy ink and again stamped off. 8. I stamped the scatter stamp with Misty Moonlight ink. (The picture flipped when I was trying to size it without me realizing it. Sorry about that.)

I removed the mask to see if I liked my collage. I felt like the striped heart fell into the background.

I put the mask back on and used a Blending Brush and Crumb Cake ink around the edges and around the masked heart. When I removed the mask, the striped heart really stood out.

I stamped Happy and Day on a scrap of Basic White cardstock with Night of Navy ink. I flagged the ends. If you have the Banner Sayings punch, you could punch it out with that. Mine hasn’t come in yet, sadly.
I stamped Valentine’s on a strip of Misty Moonlight cardstock with Night of Navy ink.
I used the dies from Endless Love bundle to cut some pieces on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I die cut the heart with the loop from Night of Navy cardstock. I trimmed off the loop. I cut the scribble heart and the small hearts from Earthen Tone Metallic Specialty Paper. I die cut the larger arrow from Gold Foil Sheets. I assembled my pieces and adhered them together with a combination of adhesives, Multipurpose Liquid Glue and Stampin’ Seal.

I adhered my background collage piece to my card base. With Stampin’ Dimensionals, I added my focal image.
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside the card.
I hope you liked this card!
