It’s Saturday and I have another simple card, using the same set that I used on Wednesday. I wanted to make a card that looks different even though I used the some of the same basic supplies.
Don’t forget that Stampin’ Up! is having their Bonus Days. For every $50 on product you spend, you get a $5 coupon to spend in February. With the new catalog and Online Exclusives, there is plenty to choose from!

While you are shopping, keep in mind that Stampin’ Up! also has their Product of the Month special. This month they are offering the stamp set Fabulous Sayings (167972). Look below to see the versatile sayings and fun font. With a $75 purchase, you can get this set for just $5. With the $50 Bonus Days credit, a little more puts you up to $75. Two specials in one!

Now let’s get onto the card! To make the card base I cut a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock to 4¼” x 11” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 5½”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. This will be a top folding card. I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 3⅛” x 4⅛” to act as my mat. I cut a piece of the Beach Boardwalk DSP to 3″ x 4″. I chose the pattern below because I thought it looked like a cloudy sky.

I stamped the roller coaster from Boardwalk Fun bundle with Momento Tuxedo Black ink.

I adhered this to the black mat with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). The narrow border helps frame the image.

I die cut the Ferris wheel from Basic Black cardstock on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I die cut the middle-sized star from a scrap of Bubble Bath cardstock. I glued this to the center of the Ferris wheel. I adhered this to my panel.

To make the background more interesting, I stamped the smallest palm tree around the bottom edge and about halfway up the sides in Petunia Pop ink on the front of the card base.

I die cut the ticket from Summer Splash cardstock and stamped Enjoy the Ride in Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I cut the sparkles from Peach Pie cardstock. I cut the ticket in half before gluing it to the card. I added the panel.

I added the panel to my card base. For a bit of sparkle, I added a Strawberry Slush & Pretty in Pink Gem to the middle of the Ferris wheel and one to the center of the largest sparkle.

I hope you liked this card!
