Peaceful Garden Card

It’s Saturday and I have another simple card. This card focuses on the DSP for the bulk of the design. It’s so easy to create beautiful cards with Stampin’ Up!’s DSP.

To make the card base, I cut a piece of Cloud Cover cardstock to 4¼” x 11” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 5½”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut two pieces (one for the inside) of Basic White cardstock to 4″ x 5¼”. I cut a piece of Peaceful Garden DSP to 5″ x 3¾”.

With the Peace on Earth bundle, I cut the smaller label in the die set from Basic White cardstock on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine.

I stamped Peace on Earth from the stamp set in the bundle on the white label. In the picture Terry used a different stamp. From a piece of Silver Foil Sheets, I cut the larger label to act as a mat.

From a piece of white glitter cardstock that I had in my stash, I cut the dove. I also cut the leafy sprig from Secret Sea cardstock.

To assemble the card, I adhered the white panel to my card base using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). On top of this I added my DSP.

To assemble the focal layer, I adhered the stamped piece to the silver mat piece. I added my blue sprig to the left side of the label. I added the dove with Stampin’ Dimensionals. I adhered this to my card.

For a little shine I added two gems from Adhesive Back Metallic Gems.

To complete the card, I stamped a greeting on the second 4″ x 5¼” white piece and glued it in my card.

I hope you liked this card!
