It’s Simple Saturday and today I have a very simple card! If you send many Christmas cards to friends and family, this simple, elegant card is perfect for mass producing. You can change up the patterned paper, cardstock and ink and have a different look. It is such an easy layout.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Real Red cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut another piece of Real Red cardstock to 4½” x 2⅝”.
I cut a piece of Traditions of Christmas DSP to 5″ x 3¾”. This paper has gold foiling and is quite beautiful.

I cut a piece of Gold Foil Sheets to 4⅝” x 2¾”. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4⅜” x 2½”. On the white piece I stamped Merry Christmas from the Merry Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink.
To assemble the card, I adhered the DSP piece to my card base using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I adhered my stamped sentiment piece to my red mat. I adhered this to my Gold Foil piece. Both of these pieces have narrow borders.

I adhered my focal image to my card base with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To add a little sparkle, I added three gold sequins from Traditional Sparkling Sequins, three gold gems from Adhesive Back Metallic Gems, or you could use whatever you have in your stash.
To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this simple card!
