It’s Saturday and I have a simple card for you. Once again, it is a Halloween themed card, since we are in October and all the little ghouls and ghosts are afoot. I love the secondary colors that are the typical color palette for Halloween. They work so well together with black as the perfect complement.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock to 4” x 5¼”. I ran this piece through my Birch Wood 3D Embossing Folder on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I adhered this piece to my card base with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal).
I applied some Adhesive Sheets to a 4″ x 6″ piece of Basic Black cardstock. The adhesive sheets come in 6″ x 12″ pieces, and I cut this down to 4″ x 6″.

From this, I die cut the three web piece dies from the Fright Night bundle. Make sure the dies are on the black side without adhesive. The adhesive sheets make it so easy to adhere to the card.

I peeled the backing off my die cuts and added them to the left side of the card.

I stamped the collage image from the Fright Night bundle in Momento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White cardstock. I love the vintage look of it. I die cut it out with the smaller label die. I die cut the larger label from Pumpkin Pie cardstock.

I adhered the stamped piece to the orange label keeping even borders.

I stamped Happy Halloween from the set in black in on Petunia Pop cardstock. There are two other cute sentiments you could choose. I die cut this with the curvy label die in the set. I glued this on to my label. It does cover a few fun words, so you can be selective as to where you place it.

I adhered my focal image with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I die cut the spider from Basic Black cardstock. If you have extra cardstock with adhesive on the back, you could use that. I adhered this to the lower left corner of the card. For additional sparkle, I added two Sparkle Star Foam Stickers to the card.
To finish the card, I stamped a greeting on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this simple card!
