It’s Simple Saturday and I have another simple card. If you’ve been following me for the past year (yes, my one-year blogging anniversary is coming up!), I try to use supplies more than one time. I hope to show how versatile the supplies can be and how to get more use from them. I am using three stamp sets on this card, and they are all on the Last Chance List. It seems like all my favorites are! Tomorrow is the last day to order the In Color products at 15% off. You won’t want to miss out on this great deal! Now, let’s get to the card.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Cherry Cobbler cardstock to 5½” x 8½” on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4¼”, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to 4” x 5¼”.
I stamped Painted Stripes stamp set in Cherry Cobbler ink on the Basic Beige piece. This stamp was designed so that the ink doesn’t stamp evenly, so the stripes have a variegated look. I adhered this panel to my card base with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal).

I stamped the house from Framed Scenes stamp set in Momento Tuxedo Black ink on Basic White cardstock. I made sure to give myself enough room to cut the image out with my Spotlight on Nature dies, the 2¾” circle on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. I also cut out the 3¾” circle from Cherry Cobbler cardstock.
I colored my image in using Stampin’ Blends. You could also use colored pencils or markers. I adhered my stamped circle to the larger circle. I adhered this to my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

I stamped Welcome Home from Tags to Go bundle. I thought this would be a sweet New Home card for someone moving to a new place. I die cut it out with the tag die in the Tags to Go bundle. It is still cheaper to buy the bundle than the individual parts. I also die cut three of the keys from Gold Foil Sheets and Silver Foil Sheets.
I glued the tag to my card. I added the long skeleton key with glue. I prefer using Bearly Art glue when dealing with foil sheets because you can wipe off any excess without ruining your die cut. I glued the medium key on top of that, and the smallest key on top.
I stamped a sentiment on a 4” x 5¼” piece of Basic White cardstock and glued it inside my card.
I hope you liked this simple card!
