It feels like time is speeding by and this card taps into speed. As we speed through life, sometimes events around us become a bit of a blur. Let’s slow down a minute (or two!) and make this fun card. The Racing By stamp set has a wonderful mix of racing items that I thought it would make a great collage card. Marilyn here with this fun collage card. I thought the primary color palette against the Basic Beige background wasn’t too overwhelming. Hopefully the collage on this card isn’t just a blur and the race car is bright enough to stand out.

Now back to the card. For the card base, I cut a piece of Real Red cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Blueberry Bushel cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 3-1/4″ for my matte, a piece of Basic Beige cardstock to 3″ x 5″, and Gold Foil Sheets into two 1/2″ x 5-1/2″ strips. I die cut on my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine the smallest circle from Stylish Shapes dies with Gold Foil. I stamped Way to Go! from the Racing By stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock and die cut it with the smallest banner die from Stylish Shapes. I found it easier to stamp first, then die cut.
Now for the collage panel. Below are step by step instructions for creating the panel. You will need Momento Tuxedo Black ink, Daffodil Delight ink, Real Red ink, and Blueberry Bushel ink. You will also need Blending Brushes, Paper Snips, and Masking Paper. If you find the collage too busy, you can reduce the number of images you stamp.

Once the panel was complete, I adhered it to my card base using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). There will be a 1/2″ border, top and bottom.
To finish the card, I glued the sentiment to the gold foil circle. I added this to my card with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
To finish the card, I stamped a sentiment on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock and added it to the inside of the card. This could easily be a birthday card or a congratulations card.
I hope you liked this fun card!
