Bloom Impressions Card

With Sale-abration in full swing, you will want to take advantage of Stampin’ Up’s biggest promotion of the year. Today’s card features the Bloom Impressions DSP which is free with a $60 product purchase before tax and shipping.

For the card base, I cut a piece of Azure Afternoon cardstock to 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ on my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4″ x 5-1/4″. I cut a piece of Bloom Impressions DSP to 3-3/4″ x 3-1/2″, and a strip of Azure Afternoon cardstock to 1/2″ x 3-3/4″.

With a scrap of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the outline tag from Hugs for Love bundle with Azure Afternoon ink. I then stamped THANK YOU from Bright Borders stamp set with Azure Afternoon ink. Bright Borders stamp set coordinates with the Hugs for Love bundle and punch, but is a separate stamp set. I colored the tiny flowers on the stamped image with a Light Azure Afternoon Stampin’ Blend. I punched it out using the To the Point Label punch which is part of the Hugs for Love bundle. I punched another label from Azure Afternoon cardstock. I punched out two of the bud images with the Bough Punch from a scrap of Azure Afternoon cardstock. I punched the leaf image twice from Silver Foil paper.

I adhered the Basic White piece to my card base with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). I adhered the 1/2″ strip to the back of the 3-3/4″ edge of the DSP piece, leaving about a 1/8″ border. I adhered this panel to my card base, leaving a 1/8″ border at the sides and bottom.

I cut the Azure Afternoon label in half horizontally and adhered my white label to it, leaving a small border top and bottom. I glued the blue sprigs to the back of my label so that they showed from the front at the top left and bottom right. I added the silver leaf punched pieces peeking behind the blue sprigs. I added this focal point to my card using Stampin’ Dimensionals.

For a bit of bling, I added Rhinestones to the center of the flowers on the stamped image.

To finish the card, I added a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Basic White cardstock to the inside of the card.

I hope you like this simple, but beautiful card!
