It’s Simple Saturday and I have a quick and easy card for you! It uses minimal supplies because the DSP does all the work.
To begin, I cut a card base of Mossy Meadow cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ with my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4/-1/4″, and burnished with my Bone Folder. I cut 2 2″ x 5-1/4″ strips from the Season of Gold and Green Specialty DSP as shown in the photo above. I adhered these strips using my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal). From the Season of Gold and Green Specialty DSP, I fussy cut the bells and two sprigs of the foliage using my Paper Snips.
I cut a scrap of Mossy Meadow cardstock to 2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ square. I cut a scrap of Very Vanilla cardstock to 2-1/4″ x 2-1/4″ square. With Mossy Meadow ink, I stamped “Season’s Greetings” from the Greetings of the Season stamp set in the bottom half of the Very Vanilla square. I made sure the corners were pointing up and down before stamping. I glued my stamped piece to the Mossy Meadow matte piece. I glued this to the middle of my card and a little above the center line. I adhered the foliage sprigs to the back of the bells and adhered the image to the top of my square using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
I added a gold Blooming Pearl below my greeting.
To finish the card, I stamped my sentiment on a 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Very Vanilla and glued it inside the card.
I hope you liked this simple but beautiful card!
