I love this cheery Christmas card! The colors really help put me in the mood for Christmas.
To make the card base, I cut a piece of Real Red cardstock to 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ with my Paper Trimmer, scored and folded at 4-1/4″, and burnished with my Bone Folder. Next, I cut the house pattern from Snowy Scenes 12″ x 12″ DSP to 3″ x 4″ making sure the house images are upright in a portrait orientation. I cut a strip of Garden Green cardstock to 1/2″ x 4″. I adhered the strip to the left side of my card base with my favorite adhesive (Multipurpose Liquid Glue or Stampin’ Seal), leaving a 1/8″ border. This is a horizontal card with the fold at the top. I glued on the house DSP, leaving a 1/8″ strip of Garden Green showing.
Next, I die cut the second largest circle from the Stylish Shapes die set from Balmy Blue cardstock with my Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. With a scrap piece of Basic White cardstock, I stamped the brick house image from the Humble Home stamp and punch bundle with Real Red ink. Before stamping, I considered the position of the house on my punch so that I wouldn’t punch my extra images with the peripheral punch images. I stamped the roof and chimney image above the brick with Garden Green ink. I stamped the window and door image with Garden Green ink on a scrap of Basic White cardstock. I stamped the wreath image with Momento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored the wreath using Real Red and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends.
If you prefer, you can stamp the window and door image on Basic White cardstock, mask the image with masking paper, and then stamp the bricks, then roof and chimney. This would allow you not to have to cut the images out and glue on top of the brick image.
I punched out the house and fussy cut the windows/door and the wreath. I also fussy cut several tree images from the DSP. I glued the windows/door and wreath to my house.

Make sure you save the snowman images for another card.
I stamped “From our house to yours” with Garden Green ink on Basic White cardstock and die cut it using the smallest square die from Stylish Shapes. It’s a tight squeeze but it fits. I adhered this to the bottom right corner of my card base with a 1/4″ border.
I put Stampin’ Dimensionals on the back of my house. Before adhering, I laid the house on my Balmy Blue circle and decided where I wanted to glue my trees. I glued on the trees and then adhered the house. I glued the circle to my card, overlapping my DSP, making sure my sentiment was showing. I tied a bow using Real Red and White Baker’s Twine and adhered it to the bottom of the circle with a Mini Glue Dot.
To finish the card, I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock to 4″ x 51/4″, stamped my sentiment, and glued inside my card.
I hope you enjoyed this card!
