Cheerful Daisies Step Card

This card was made by my friend Marilyn Falco.

The base of this card is Pretty in Pink cardstock cut to 5½” x 8 ½”, scored and folded at 1” (mountain), 2” (valley), & 5 ¼“ (mountain). Cut the “step” from Pretty in Pink:  3”x 6”, scored and folded at 4¼“.

Cut a piece of Petunia Pop cardstock at: 2⅞”x 4⅛” and two pieces of Basic White cardstocka. 4”x 2¾”, b. 3 x 5¼”

Stamp the large outline daisy with Petunia Pop on a. piece of white cardstock twice.  Stamp the insides of the flowers in Pretty in Pink ink. In Daffodil Delight, stamp the centers of the flowers. Stamp various leaves in Soft Sea Foam around the daisies.  On scrap white, stamp another large flower and one small flower in Petunia Pop, filled with Pretty in Pink.  Stamp the centers with Daffodil Delight.  Stamp an additional two leaves.  Die cut these.  Stamp sentiment on upper right hand corner of one b. white pieces.

Glue the sentiment piece on the mountain side of card base facing the smaller mountain.

Glue stamped piece a. on the Petunia Pop matte and glue this to the front of the step Pretty in Pink.  Apply glue to the bottom of this piece ONLY and glue to the 1” strip (step) of the card base on the left side about ⅛” from the left edge and flush with the bottom.  Glue the back flap to the back of the card base.  Put glue NO MORE about ½” from the edge of the step piece so the card can open.

With a dab of glue at the base of the leaf, adhere the leaf to the large flower.  Use Dimensionals,  being careful not to add them beyond the edge of the step.  Glue the other leaf to the middle of the exposed part of the front 1” step.  Adhere the small daisy.  Add three Iridescent faceted gems.  Open card and add inside remaining b.white piece for sentiment.
