Gone Fishing Retirement Card

The Let’s Go Fishing Suite makes the best masculine cards! I love this design for a retirement, birthday, or Father’s Day card! The coordinating Let’s Go Fishing DSP is perfect to make the nicest cards.

This card starts with a 4.25″ x 11″ piece of Boho Blue Cardstock. I then adhered a 4″ x 5.25″ piece of Night of Navy Cardstock to the front of the card.

I added a 3.75″ strip of navy print from Let’s Go Fishing DSP to the top of the card and the fish-patterned piece to the bottom of the card. I used the Gone Fishing dies to cut out some waves from Boho Blue Cardstock.

I used the die in the Gone Fishing Bundle to cut a silver hook and stamped the fish in Night of Navy ink on Basic White Cardstock. Use the coresponding die to cut out the fish.

I stamped the greeting in Night of Navy ink on Basic White Cardstock using the Deckled Rectangle Framelits. I used a Sponge Dauber to sponge some Night of Navy ink around the edges of the rectangle. I adhered the greeting to the front of the card with dimensionals.

Finally, I stamped the bobber in Boho Blue and Night of Navy ink on Basic White Cardstock. Use the coresponding dies to cut out the image and adhere to the greeting. You can embellish with a bit of linen thread like the In Color Jute Thread!
