I love the monochromatic look of this simple birthday card! Perfect for the man in your life–or a great option for a Father’s Day Card.

This card starts with a 8.5″ x 5.5″ piece of Basic Black Cardstock.

Next, I cut two 1 1/2″ strips, one 1 3/4″ strips of the striped Pansy Petals DSP and In Color DSP (on sale and retiring SOON!)

I matted the three strips on a piece of 4 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ Smoky Slate Cardstock.

I stamped the birthday greeting in Evening Evergreen Ink on Smoky Slate Cardstock. I cut out the greeting with my Label Me Lovely punch. I cut a strip of Evening Evergreen and flagged the ends before adhering the greeting with dimensionals!
